PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  • The Vietnam Leadership Accelerator is a leadership training and networking initiative aiming at building skills and confidence for high-potential, emerging women leaders.
  • The Leadership Accelerator aims to promote women’s equal career advancement in the industry of garment and footwear manufacturing, expanding the leadership pipeline and contributing to workplace gender equity at participating factories.

TARGETED PARTICIPANT

The first and only leadership training and networking program for: ​

  • Women in a production-related role, at entry-level (i.e. Team leader, Vice supervisor, Line leader,…)
  • Viewed as having potential for promotion
  • Worked in the factory for a minimum three years
  • In their current role for at least one year

Training Methods

In-person Training

  • Two class cohorts organized in the North and South regions
  • 9 training sessions​​
  • Applies adult learning methodologies to help participants easily apply knowledge to real-world situations

Online Training via Zoom

  • Three hours of online learning, with participants able to log into Zoom from the factory or any other convenient location.

Group Self-Study Sessions on Zoom

  • Self-study sessions allow participants to reflect, exchange knowledge, and apply skills in their work.
  • Participants connect with alumni to share real-world experiences and practical insights.​​

Self-paced learning via the MVV Everlearn app​

  • Digitized content that can be accessed anytime, anywhere.
  • The mobile app allows participants to easily access micro-learning lessons.​​

FAQ

Entry-level female managers (i.e. Team leader, Vice supervisor, Line leader,…) working in manufacturing environments, with at least 3 years of experience and potential for advancement.

Six months, combining in-person training, online learning, group self-study, and mobile app-based learning.

Out of providing the training program, we also hold online Information session, Supervisor’s engagement session for factory’s representatives and line managers of participants. These sessions aimed at providing necessary information about the training program, give relevant guidance for factories on how to effectively facilitate and support their participants in learning progress and application of knowledge into the real situation.

Yes, all participants will receive a certificate upon completing the program.

The program is designed for women with at least 6 months to 1 year of management experience, though applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
